Drive company vehicles to pick or drop employees, visitors, materials & documents as instructed. Ensure that all deliveries have been signed and delivered to the correct recipient. Keep vehicle clean and maintained at all times. Ensuring Safety of the passengers. Perform preventative and regular maintenance on vehicle Performs minor repairs, arranges for regular maintenance and ensures that the vehicle is kept clean and in good running condition at all times. Ensures safety and custody of the vehicle, including tools. Ensures availability of all the required documents/supplies including vehicle insurance, registration, logs, office directory, map of the city/country, first aid kit, and necessary spare parts are in the assigned vehicle. Ensures that, in the event of an accident involving the office vehicle, the necessary steps required by rules and regulations are followed. Maintains records for vehicles, logs official trips, records daily mileage, records the use of fuel vouchers, and keeps records on consumption. Safely transport freight that must be kept under refrigerated conditions. Make sure to secure the item load from/to the warehouse inside the truck and during loading and off loading. Arranging the gate pass, delivery order and/or transfer orders as well as acknowledgement of delivery from the concerned inventory executive, supervisor, customer or third party warehouse. Other warehouse duties, including but not limited to; staff, documents and goods in/out, returns, packing, stock movements etc. Other duties as assigned.
