Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for experienced Accountant to join our Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate reports, handling VAT Tax returns & Corporate Tax, and ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations. The candidate must be based in the UAE with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role also includes HR-related financial tasks, such as payroll processing, WPS transactions, coordinating employee renewals, and additional administrative duties.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee Odoo software for accounting operations
Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow
Ensure accurate invoicing, billing, and reconciliation of transactions
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and financial regulations, including corporate tax and VAT filings
Support internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation
Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial reports
Generate and analyse financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards
Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
Oversee inventory stock control and vehicle documentation management
Coordinate with PRO for trade licenses, tenancy contracts, and employee renewals
Process payroll through Odoo, execute WPS transactions, and oversee HR-related financial transactions, including recruitment procedures

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Odoo is mandatory
Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax laws, and financial regulations
Skilled in Microsoft 365, MS Office, CRM and other business tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of UAE corporate tax regulations
Experience in handling financial audits
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
