Role Description The Barista role at Shot speciality cafe is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The Barista prepares and serves specialty coffee drinks and other menu items, following established recipes and presentation standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating espresso machines and brewing equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks, maintaining cleanliness of the bar and seating areas, and restocking supplies. The Barista greets guests, takes orders, processes payments, and delivers attentive, friendly customer service. This role also involves working as part of a team, following health and safety guidelines, and supporting opening and closing procedures as needed.
Qualifications

Strong customer-facing abilities, including Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills.
Effective Communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
Hands-on Barista experience, including operating coffee equipment and preparing espresso-based drinks.
Basic Food Preparation skills and adherence to hygiene and safety standards.
Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in a café or hospitality environment is an advantage.
Basic numeracy skills for handling cash and POS systems; proficiency in English is preferred, additional languages are a plus.
