Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

This is a full-time on-site Senior Accountant role. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and ensuring that financial reports reflect accurate information. The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining financial policies and procedures, managing budget preparation, and collaborating with other teams for financial planning and analysis. Senior Account role shall include the following:
Preparation of all monthly financial reports and tax reports
Manage accounts payable & receivable
Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
Support other accounting and finance team members, inventory management, and cost accounting
Performs project cost allocation.
Bank Reconciliation & Variance Analysis
Preparation of any reports related to Payroll
Manage Fixed Asset and Depreciation
Review Subcontractor Claims by examining submitted work progress and verify against contract terms and site reports for issuance of payment
Assist in overall accounting works
Reporting and budgeting as required by Management

Qualifications
5+ years of experience in accounting and finance
Experience using accounting software
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships
Experience working in the construction industry is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field, CPA certification strongly preferred
Immediate Joiner preferred
