Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

SPADREC Sports Investment is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in Dubai.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and supporting the month-end and year-end closing processes.
We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working within a fast-paced, multi-entity business environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
Perform bank, balance sheet, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Prepare management reports and financial statements.
Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Assist with cash-flow monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting.
Prepare variance analysis and provide financial insights to management.
Support UAE VAT and Corporate Tax calculations, reconciliations, and filing requirements.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, UAE regulations, and internal company policies.
Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation for audits.
Support financial reporting and accounting requirements across multiple entities.
Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
Provide support and guidance to junior members of the Finance team where required.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Previous experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar accounting position is preferred.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
UAE accounting experience is strongly preferred.
Experience working with ERP or accounting systems.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience within a multi-entity/group environment is an advantage.
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or equivalent is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
